Chick gets a chance to do just that with his mother. He returns to the house where he grew up and where his mother died eight years before, only to find her still living there and carrying on her day to day life. He ends up spending a strange, but wonderful day with her and she answers questions about events in his childhood that he had never resolved. A beautiful book with a wonderful message.
